I really need to upgrade everything in my home and I’m told that the best HDTV to get is a Phillips. It isn’t only cheap but from what my DISH co-worker told me it has a great picture and wonderful audio. There is nothing wrong with it at all. I just really need something that is going to go perfect with my HD free for life programming from DISH. I can’t wait to see what it all looks like in person.

I agree with you, it DOES seem a little intimidating to look at moving into HD…it’s a whole different technology, and there are so many manufacturers’ out there, you want to do some thorough research online before jumping into buy-mode. I’ve done the same thing, and have been looking deeply into the Samsung you mention here. Looks like a top set, and I haven’t been able to find a single negative review about it. I recently signed up for HD Free For Life after hearing about it through my job at DISH and have been looking for just the right HDTV to really show off the awesome HD Channels, movies, and sports I get through my regular programming package. Can’t wait to get this thing hung up downstairs in the family room!

Nice! I love it! I really need to upgrade in my room and I want HD so bad especially since it is free with DISH. I can’t wait to see what it looks like in person. My co-workers at DISH have told me Toshiba is one of the best and very affordable. I really do hope that they are right about that. I need a 32 inch because I think that any bigger will be to big and any smaller will be too small. Then I have to have HDMI for HD! I can’t have a HDTV without HD. So let’s hope that I can get a good deal on everything!

When you shop for something as big as a HDTV, you want to make sure you have the best. If you don’t check reviews or talk to people than you might be regretting your purchase right now. I always talk to my friends or DISH co-workers to see what is out there before getting it. After talking to them I look at reviews online. That is where you can see the good and bad. Right now, I’m shopping around for a new HDTV to go with my HD free for life programming I have from DISH. I have one HDTV in my home and now I need another one for my living room. (Yes, I did put my first one in my room for myself.) So let’s just hope that get a good deal on a Samsung because I have read and heard nothing but great things!

I have been shopping around for a new HDTV for a while now and I still haven’t found the right one. I forgot that sharps existed! I know I’m crazy because they are one of the main TV Brands. I finally notice that I forgot about Sharps when I noticed that my DISH co-worker owned one. I asked her if she liked it and she said it is a great TV. When I was looking at her Sharp I seen that the picture was really clear and the audio was really great. She has this exact one but I am going to be getting a newer one. I can’t wait to see what they have out now I just want to take full advantage of DISH’s HD free for life. What is a new HDTV without HD programming right?

I would have to say, you definitely featured the most impressive offerings for TV’s at CES. I had not heard about the LG 4K TV having the voice and motion sensors, which is really cool! I also like the comparison of the Samsung Super-OLED and LG model. The difference in thickness won’t matter for many people; the picture quality is what matters most. I want the best I can get from all of my technology too, but I can never afford what I want! That is why I was so excited to find out that Smart TV technology would be available to me soon from my employer DISH Network when they release the Hopper receiver. It has TV apps like Pandora and Facebook which will release sometime after the receiver does, but I will be able to use them on any TV in my house with a Joey (small client boxes) that delivers DVR functions. I have to wait until everyone can get one of these multi-room DVR’s but the best part is that I find out first!

The thing that I liked about this TV the most is the rich color levels, especially the black level. Also the picture qualities are really high, and really smooth (120Hz), which makes you really enjoy what you’re watching. I notice the big difference in the 120HZ refresh rate because I tend to watch a lot of sports on ESPN HD on my DISH Network HD satellite system. So when plays are fast, at least you’ll know that the TV won’t have motion blur or ghosting. I’m glad a co-worker of mine recommended this TV to me because this TV even exceeds Energy Star standards, a real plus in my book.

I was not interested in 3D TV’s at all until I saw this one. The images are so clear it’s just simply awesome to watch. The contrast with the deep blacks is the best I have ever experienced on a TV, which is a huge bonus in my book. My other Mitsubishi TV that was only a year old did not compare at all to how nice the deep blacks look on this LG TV. After connecting my HD DISH Network satellite system to the TV, that’s when I really noticed how crisp of an image the TV really had. Even when it’s in the afternoon when the sun’s at its brightest, the TV still comes in just as clear. I’m glad a co-worker at DISH recommended this TV to me.

I have to agree with the pro’s and con’s of the television. Although the con’s are more along the line this is a basic television, and its a great television at that. With only 2 HDMI ports, and no digital audio jack it wouldn’t work in the home entertainment system, but it is an outstanding television in my bedroom. On top of reading reviews on the television before I bought it, I asked a lot of my DISH customers that called in setting up their new television. I was amazed how many said they bought a new Samsung, and out of those, almost everyone said the picture and the quality of the television was outstanding. It was an early Christmas present seeing my hd channels on this beauty, and with the money I saved on the television, and the money I save monthly because my HD is free for life with any package let me get the wife something extra special for Christmas.

This is a weird purchase for me, coming from being a SONY & Samsung Fanboy. This is the most outstanding 2D picture I have ever laid my eyes on, and I have seen many High-end Television sets. I almost bought a Sony XBR-HX909 for the super high reviews on its amazing 2D image. But once I saw the 3D image I was a bit thrown off by the 3D technology, after already owning a Panasonic 3D Viera which was much better.
