Review:
If you’re in the market for an HDTV then the Samsung PN50B650 deserves a second look. Externally, the design color touch attractive beveled edge glass exudes elegance and class was added. S reflects internal Full HD Crystal Engine and Samsung e-panel technology in a clear vivid image blur free, ideal for sports and films alike.
In fact, I started on the HDTV market in search of a 52 “LCD panel with 1080p and 120Hz data. After months of research, I realized that a mark has been established with the specifications above my budget. I don’t, taking into account a plasma because I thought he was an obsolete technology, fear of burn-in (IR), reduce operating costs and plasma is heavy weight difference. But as I studied more than I learned in the plasma, that my fears were themselves obsolete. Plasma is not an obsolete technology, many companies have more money in R & D. Plasma
IR is certainly still a problem, but with some simple basic precautions and with the built in option of moving pixels, IR is a very small concern. This set is also Energy Star compliant with an energy of less than 40% of the plasma of years ago (according to Samsung’s website) and compared with LCDs of similar size. Regarding the weight, I don’t too worried because my set wasn’t go on a wall. Regardless of the difference in weight of an LCD, only about 15 kg or more. Also this set has an interesting turn on the TV media for optimal visibility.
The disadvantages that I have so far: Even with the filter installed the Brightmail technology in the glow of the screen is always a factor. I have my game in a room with no tents, but not direct sunlight, and I find myself changing the brightness at certain times of the day for use. While the media 2.0 is a great feature (and why I recommend this book on the B550 for some extra $), can sometimes be a bit ‘slow. Lastly, the speakers are on the fringe of this television. Not bad, expect the volume, but certainly not in the range of medium or low as you would. Must be provided outside the near future.Do not bore you with pre-and\disadvantages of internal data of this series, we can interpret as you like, but for a non-HDTV expert, who had just tried the best value for your money with great image quality and technology ( example, 24p Cinema Smooth frame rate), in an interesting watch TV, Samsung, this was an obvious choice for me. Finally, the plasma was another I was considering the Panasonic G10. It reviews a bit ‘better, but aesthetically IMO, the Samsung was the clear winner. For non-experts like me HDTV, the differences in terms of image quality was outstanding. On a side note was, as the post above, the cable channels are standard DEF damn good on this series, compared to my old 37″ LCD.
